It is straw yellow in colour with especially a fine and persistent mousse. Fine and fragrant bouquet, with pleasant notes of fruit. To the palate it is fresh, elegant and harmonious, with good acidity. The organic sparkling wine La Piotta MilleBolle Brut comes from grapes of the cru “Riva dei Ghiaioni”. The particular soil is perfect especially to give grapes with good acidity and intense aroma precursors.

The Producer

The company dates back in 1985, from a family devoted to the world of wine for generations. The average age of the vines currently present is about 30 years. This allows the production of white wines with especially intense and persistent aromas and full-bodied, well-structured red wines. Over the years it grew to become a farm land of 15 hectares completely planted vineyards. The annual production is about 70,000 bottles; therefore, they can still be considered a family producer. The entire production cycle takes place in the winery, and therefore it is personal care of the Padroggi family. The Padroggi family has, for generations, been dedicated to the cultivation of the vine and wine production. The company founder, Luigi, and his sons Gabriel and Mario have dedicated their lives to the founding and expansion of the company. Finally the third generation of winemakers did join the company. The young Enrico and Luca joined their fathers in the technical, productive and commercial parts. Their intention is to continue the process begun by their grandfather; especially bringing new ideas to the company from the point of view of the image and production. In 2013 La Piotta became part of the FIVI – Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers. FIVI has especially the aim of representing and safeguarding the figure of the winemaker in relation to the institutions by promoting the quality and authenticity of Italian wines.

padroggilapiotta.it

La Piotta MilleBolle Brut - Organic Sparkling by Hay Wines

Colome Estate Malbec:-

Colome Estate Malbec has aromas of black and red fruits including blackberries, blackcurrants, raspberries and cherries, with touches of violet floral notes and hints of spices and minerals.

It is fresh and fruity on the palate with muscular structure and round, velvety tannins. Today, their 32 hectares of vineyards stretch over the hills and slopes of the most prestigious towns in this DOCG territory. The vineyard dubbed "Col del Sas" located on the hill of the same name in the territory of Valdobbiadene, embodies the family history. All the lands and vineyards, every vine and every single cluster, are followed closely on their way to the bottles, always subject to the attentive gaze and the industrious hands of father Orazio and mother Loretta and their four sons, brothers Stefano, Marco, Alberto, and Mattia. The grapes that make up the base of the Spagnol Valdobbiadene DOCG Rive di Solighetto Brut are the fruit of the Prosecco vine, today identified with the historic synonym Glera. Glera is a white grape characterised by yellow-golden fruit in long, straggly, and winged clusters. Its cultivation in this territory, moulded by the Piave River and its lateral branches, makes it possible to obtain spectacular levels of quality thanks to the outstanding variety in the geological composition of the soils. These ideal terrains are further enhanced by the diverse exposure of the hillsides, the varying altitudes, and the many micro-climates found in this zone, marked by notable temperature changes between the day and night.
