The Clos Des Fous Coauquenina is a beautiful dark ruby-red colour with violet highlights. Outstanding fruit, with a nose full of red berries, red currant, black cherry, blueberry. Spices like black pepper, tea leaves. Notes of graphite and hints of violets framed its great complexity. Those elements come through on the palate, with fresh black and red fruit, revealing a full-bodied wine. This wine opens generously, very silky and lush on the palate. Château de Valois dates back to 1862 when the original vineyards of Château Figeac were restructured. In 1962, Bernard Leydet owned the vineyard comprisingeight hectares.
