A very traditional and characterful Canon Fronsac. The wine is aged for 12 months in 300L oak barrels (90% used, 10% new), followed by other 10 months in concrete tanks. Spicy and fruity on the nose, with a nice oakiness in harmony with primary aromas. Full-bodied, very elegant and balanced.

Galena is a wine with an intense cherry red colour, where we try to express what our terroir is. The mineral character the wine has is unique from this terroir, always present, which provides freshness. Galena presents a remarkable aromatic complexity and a wealth of nuances, with aromas dominated by balsamic notes, black fruits as well as jams, with a light touch of black spices. Full bodied in the mouth, powerful but with tannins that soften with time in bottle. This wine has a very good ageing potential.
