Jefferson’s Bourbon is made in very small batches. Actually, ridiculously small batches. They take up to four different Kentucky straight bourbon whiskies of different ages and marry them together. Doing this, they get a lot of complexity and balance while maintaining the consistency needed in a bourbon. They wanted to make it big enough for the connoisseur, yet approachable for people just getting into the premium bourbon field.

Very rich and fruity on the nose, with sumptuous notes of dried fruit, raisins and barley sugar, countered by brioche and fennel. Easy drinking and smooth mouthfeel, with a generous helping of sweet spice – cinnamon and nutmeg – along with refreshingly juicy fruit. On the finish the richness remains, but there’s freshness in the form of black pepper that delivers a kick of spicy zing.

Woodford Reserve is a sour mash straight bourbon made at Kentucky's oldest distillery. It is the only bourbon which is triple distilled in copper pot stills, the time-honoured method of production. It is then aged in new charred American oak barrels. Double Gold Medals at the World Spirits Competition in 2000, 2001 and 2005 - the only bourbon ever to achieve this.
