Creme brulee, a burst of citrus and the signature nuttiness and green leafiness of Auchentoshan. Smooth and sweet with hints of tangerine and lime. Gingery and slightly drying, with a pleasant lingering nuttiness.
The nose is big-bodied with oaked aridity. The peat is present and quite pungent with an earthen rootiness. Notes of exotic fruits and a hint of salinity. The palate is full-bodied with a good helping of cereal sweetness. There is a richness to the peat, with a dark nuttiness and whirling smoke. The finish is long and crisp with a coastal tang and a trailing peat with oaked dryness
The nose is quite light, yet fragrant. Notes of fresh cereal and grist, some barley sweetness and a nutty note. Acacia honey creeps in with gentle warmth. The palate is very fruity with notes of Madeira and sweet stewed fruits. A hint of calvados and tannic oak lining the mouth
