2015 A little sweeter than 2014 but with great balancing acidity: A very good aperitif which can also match sea-food such as scallops and lobster, and all white meat, for example turkey with cranberry sauce. It also goes well with aged hard ewe’s milk cheese. 50cl bottle.

It is deep gold tending to amber. The nose is very intense, with dried apricot, honey and mincemeat, and final notes of citrus. Rich and sweet, but fresh at the same time. This gorgeous wine comes from organic grapes dried under the sun, without sulphites addition, native yeast fermentation, without filtration. The natural fermentation stops spontaneously. With an aroma reminiscent of orange blossom and apricots. The palate is rich and sweet, with vibrant peachy and orangey fruit. Ends with a lingering, refreshing aftertaste. Very good with almost any dessert, but particularly those with chocolate, orange or apricots.
Virtually black in colour, with a rose-like aroma, very intense on the palate and full of fantastic rich velvety fruit. One of the few wines that can stand up to chocolate puddings. Or try it poured over ice cream for the ultimate after-dinner treat!

Coteaux du Layon is the widest wine area of the Anjou region. Along the Layon river, the vines are protected by the hills in this lovely contryside. Although wine makers produce a good semi-dry white wine, Coteaux du Layon is best known for its sweet white wine which is over 15 centuries old. The vignerons leave the grapes on their vines until over-ripe. This provides the wine with its concentrated taste and high sugar content. This superb dessert wine has a delightful mix of aromas, including honeysuckle, peach, quince-jelly, acacia honey and orange blossom. The mouth is gently sweet with lovely tropical fruit flavours, and is held in supreme balance by zesty citrus fruits and acidity.
