This Dominio de Fontana wine is refreshing, expressive and comes from the DO Ucles. Sauvignon Blanc provides grassy and gooseberry notes. Conversely the Verdejo adds notes of white pepper and fennel. Ultimately this makes the wine textured and aromatic, with an authentic palate. Furthermore, this wine is rounded off by a crisp mineral finish.
Galena is a wine with an intense cherry red colour, where we try to express what our terroir is. The mineral character the wine has is unique from this terroir, always present, which provides freshness. Galena presents a remarkable aromatic complexity and a wealth of nuances, with aromas dominated by balsamic notes, black fruits as well as jams, with a light touch of black spices. Full bodied in the mouth, powerful but with tannins that soften with time in bottle. This wine has a very good ageing potential.
