Bad Fagin’s Apple Pie Moonshine 70cl

This Bad Fagin’s Apple Pie Moonshine tastes and smells of real apple pie.

Moreover only natural ingredients are used and it is “homemade”.

Our high quality base spirit comes from the Exeter Distillery, where only fresh & natural ingredients are used.

Also Exeter Distillery is one of the smallest distilleries in the country.

Usually, liqueur makers buy industrial base spirit and synthetic aromas and flavourings.

As a result this often leaves a thin artificial taste.

Because of the natural ingredients used our Apple Pie Moonshine tastes like the classic dessert.

It has great aromas, good texture and perfectly balanced alcohol.

As a result, it is excellent on its own or at the end of a meal.

Alternatively, try it with Ginger Ale or Lime.

Bad Fagin’s Apple Pie Moonshine is available in 70cl bottle sizes.

Bad Fagins Apple Pie Moonshine

Bad Fagin’s Apple Pie Moonshine: the History

Moonshine was originally a slang term for high-proof spirits, often up to 190% proof, made in the backwoods of America in hand made stills.

However in recent years Moonshine has become a commercial product. Unfortunately this often means it is made with synthetic products.

The word “moonshine” comes from the term “moonrakers” used by early English smugglers.

Moonshine was typically portrayed by Hollywood as illicit alcohol made during the prohibition by gangsters and backwoods people.

Distillation was often done at night to avoid discovery. It was very popular in remote areas of the Appalachians.

Bad Fagin’s Apple Pie Moonshine brings you back to the history of Moonshine liqueurs.

The settlers often made their whiskey in homemade stills and with a variety of ingredients. For example: corn, potatoes, grains and fruit often without aging it.

Moonshine purists define the spirit as homemade, unaged whiskey. Furthermore, it is marked by its clear colour, corn base and high alcohol content.

Clynelish 14 YO

You can almost taste the coastal flora in Clynelish Single Malt Scotch Whisky, with its crisp, medium- bodied, mustard-fresh style. Although you won’t find Islay’s powerful smokiness here, there is just a trace of it lingering. It’s said Clynelish whisky is closer to an Island style than other mainland malts, with a complex and fragrant nose and an agreeable long finish that leaves a lingering fresh-fruity flavour. Not a heavyweight, it is yet deliciously drinkable, and perfect as an aperitif.
