1. Aromo Private Reseve Carmenere, Maule Valley, Chile, £9.99 (1 bottle)
A medley of aromas from blackberry and dark chocolate to more savoury, meaty notes. The palate displays ripe dark fruits but also coffee and liquorice.

2. Wakefield Shiraz, Clare Valley, Australia, £14.29 (1 bottle)
A soft and fleshy Shiraz boasting a lively palate of juicy red berry fruits, plum and spice, along with subtle chocolate and savoury characters from the oak maturation.

3. Navajas Rioja Tinto, Rioja, Spain, £8.99 (1 bottle)
This is Rioja at its precocious youthful best, with intense raspberry and black cherry fruit overlaid with a flourish of vanilla and coconut. It is beautifully balanced with medium weight and cushioned by fine grain tannins. One of our best selling reds.

4. Kaiken Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina, £9.99 (1 bottle)
Fruity aromas intermingle with wildflowers and blackberries, accompanied by notes of coffee and chocolate from the oak ageing. The palate is smooth, with well-balanced acidity, round and elegant tannins and a medium-long finish.

5. Baglio Gibellina U Passimiento Terre Siciliane, Sicily, Italy, £11.29 (1 bottle)
This wine is made from partially dried grapes, it has bright intense red fruit on the nose displaying lots of red berries. The palate is warm and full-bodied with sweet fruit and harmonious acidity and smooth and elegant tannins. One of our best selling reds.

6. Andre Brunel Cotes du Rhone Est Quest, France, £11.29 (1 bottle)
Balanced intense and powerful, with spicy, savoury fruit and a white pepper and plum fruit finish.

All goods should be examined upon receipt, and any claim for loss or breakage notified by email or telephone to Hay Wines immediately. In the case of goods delivered by couriers, unless any claim is made within 24 hours, no compensation, refund or other credit will be available. In the case of damaged goods, Hay Wines reserves the right to collect these.

Ship your items back to us

If you wish to return your order due to an error on our behalf, we are happy to collect or get our courier to collect from the delivery address stated on the invoice, providing the parcel is securely packed in the same way as it was sent out. If you wish to return the parcel yourself please feel free to do so. Once the parcel has returned to us we will refund you the full amount. Please note that refunds may take up to 7 working days to appear in your account.

Medium bodied, fruit driven, fine ripe sweetness with good acidity which is perfectly balanced with the round ripe tannins culminating in a long ripe fruit driven finish. 6. Angoris Ribolla Gialla, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy, £13.99 (1 bottle) The nose is full of different inspirations: cedar, green apple, lemon, lime. Slightly smoky, with refreshing chalky aromas. An elegant wine, it has floral aromas and flavours of citrus and peach. 3. Terre Antiche Gavi di Gavi, Piedmont, Italy, £14.99 (1 bottle) An attractive lemon yellow colour. This wine is scented and delicate, with hints of lime zest on the nose and fruit with a lovely zip and verve on the palate and a mineral finish. 4. Pascual Larrieta Rioja Joven, Rioja Alavesa, Spain, £11.69 (1 bottle) The winery is located in Samaniego, which sits at the foot of the Sierra de Cantabria Mountains in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa. Most of the inhabitants of this village are engaged in winemaking. The winery’s 15 ha of vineyards, with an average age of 50, benefit from the marl soil present in this area, which is ideal for winegrowing. 5. Chateau des Antonin Bordeaux Superieur, Bordeaux, France, £12.99 (1 bottle) This is an excellent value, textbook claret that has inviting aromas of cedar, blackcurrant & plum. On the palate there are delicious flavours of dark fruits & a nice lifted finish. A blend of half Cabernet Sauvignon and half Merlot this offers great value for every-day drinking. 6.
