Spagnol Prosecco DOCG Frizzante Lo Spago Quick View

Spagnol Prosecco DOCG Frizzante Lo Spago 2017

The colour is bright straw yellow and it has the light and soft perlage typical of Frizzante wines. The nose senses a bouquet of apple and floral notes of acacia and wisteria. The taste is fresh and very typical, with good acidity balanced by tatantalizing sapidity or an almost salty minerality. This wine is closely linked to the traditions of this territory and characterised by the typical “twine knot”. The cork is fixed to the bottle neck with twine, a procedure which is still done today by hand, just as it has been done for generations by the farming families of this area.

The lees at the bottom of the bottle offer the wine softness, mouthfeel and longevity and can be shaken into the Prosecco to give a buttery-spicy flavours.

Bastia Cartizze Prosecco Grand Cru Expensive Prosecco Quick View

Bastia Rebuli Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze Prosecco Dry 2015

Pale straw yellow in colour with an fine and persistent perlage. The aromas are deep and delicate with flower notes like the rose, the field’s violet and fruity scents of apple and September peach. On the palate it is mellow, appealing and velvety, lightly aromatic. The important residual sugars in the wine (25 g/l) are perfectly balanced with the huge minerality that comes from the hill of Cartizze and its soil. This all gives the impression of a drier wine, but which very smooth and balanced on the palate. Cartizze is widely considered to be the "Grand Cru" of Prosecco.

Ayala Brut Majeur

Pale gold in colour with a fine mousse, the wine is aromatic on the nose. On the palate, it is well balanced and shows great finesse and complexity. It is the Pinot Noir that gives the wine richness and a long finish while the Chardonnay, from the finest soils of the Cote des Blancs, adds delicacy, liveliness and freshness. Pinot Meunier, mainly from the Marne Valley, gives the wine an appealing fruitiness and roundness.
