Bowmore 15YO Darkest

Matured first in bourbon barrels then Oloroso caks, there’s no finer example of a sherry cask finish than our 15 Year Old. It’s the final three years spent in Oloroso sherry casks that gives Bowmore 15 Year Old the rich, deep colour and robust warming finish.

Rich raisins and gentle smoke lead the way to a delicious chocolaty centre.

The Bowmore distillery on Islay was built in 1779, at least that’s the claim made by their marketeers. This would make Bowmore one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland. However, the records from this early period are often relatively vague, so when the first Bowmore was actually distilled is hard to determine with 100% accuracy.

Clynelish 14YO

You can almost taste the coastal flora in Clynelish Single Malt Scotch Whisky, with its crisp, medium- bodied, mustard-fresh style. Although you won’t find Islay’s powerful smokiness here, there is just a trace of it lingering. It’s said Clynelish whisky is closer to an Island style than other mainland malts, with a complex and fragrant nose and an agreeable long finish that leaves a lingering fresh-fruity flavour. Not a heavyweight, it is yet deliciously drinkable, and perfect as an aperitif.
