Chase Espresso Vodka

Chase Espresso Vodka is the perfect blend of delectable Chase Vodka with rich roasted coffee beans. Light in colour and not overly sweet, delivering an intense burst of coffee with a smooth chocolatey finish.

On the nose rich milk chocolate, hints of vanilla, honey and aromas of dark roast coffee.

On the palate an intense burst of coffee with sweet notes of black cherry, honey and dark muscovado sugar. Bitterness of dark chocolate with a creamy finish.

William Chase was a local farmer who grew potatoes when a supermarket rejected a batch he sold them to Kettle Chips who told him they were the best they had ever used so he decided to make his own crisps and Tyrells was born.

He then discovered potatoes could also make amazing vodka and apples the base for great gin,  he also now also owns an estate in Provence making great biodynamic wines.

Chase Espresso Vodka is made with the brand’s original potato vodka and Ethiopian coffee beans, roasted locally to the distillery to form the “intensely rich” base of the expression.

It is slowly distilled through the distillery’s pure copper still Ginny, then cold-brewed, chill-filtered and carefully blended with the distillate to add an “exquisite depth of complexity” to the vodka.

From the idea in 2004, it took us until April fool’s day 2008 to harvest the first of our potatoes, making the first batch of vodka in June 2008. http://chasedistillery.co.uk/wills-story/

 Upon tasting the very first drop from the column before filtering, I was so enamoured and proud of it, I decided to call it Chase Vodka. And so Chase Distillery was born.
The next shock was how little volume we produced: 16 tonnes of potatoes made only 1000 litres of alcohol! Which after 40 hours was very disheartening, but it is testament to the quality of our vodka.
So with this supreme quality over all of the other mass produced vodka, I was sure it would work
