Chase Smoked Vodka

Chase Smoked Vodka has warm and inviting aromas, like a great British campfire.

Chase Smoked Vodka has an initial peppery haze opens up to a lightly sweet and creamy, oak smoke with delicate notes of ash flitting by in the breeze.

Sweet and light woody notes of liquorice root greet the palate on entry.

Chase Smoked Vodka also has hints of charcoal and black pepper lead the way with a lightly tingling bitterness and spice, before the billowing oak smoke that follows.

The finish has a soft and delicate smokiness, warming like orange embers in the fireplace.

Try it neat and slightly chilled as it tastes great on its own. With its smoky and moreish qualities, it also makes an inspired base for a range of cocktail recipes especially in a Bloody Mary and as a food-pairing vodka with smoked fish.

Vodka using their traditional copper pot distilling methods by blending down their award winning Chase Original Vodka with Herefordshire’s finest oak smoked water.

Water from their borehole is allowed to sit in the coolest part of the smokehouse for 5 days in order to pick up that delicate sweet but ashy smoky flavour. Chase Distillery

William Chase was a local farmer who grew potatoes when a supermarket rejected a batch he sold them to Kettle Chips who told him they were the best they had ever used so he decided to make his own crisps and Tyrell’s was born.

Made on our family farm in Herefordshire, we are the only UK distillery to offer a premium vodka that is made entirely from seed to bottle, giving a quality vodka with provenance.

He then discovered potatoes could also make amazing vodka and apples the base for great gin. He also now also owns an estate in Provence making great biodynamic wines.

Returns and Exchanges

All goods should be examined upon receipt, and any claim for loss or breakage notified by email or telephone to Hay Wines immediately. In the case of goods delivered by couriers, unless any claim is made within 24 hours, no compensation, refund or other credit will be available. In the case of damaged goods, Hay Wines reserves the right to collect these.

Ship your items back to us

If you wish to return your order due to an error on our behalf, we are happy to collect or get our courier to collect from the delivery address stated on the invoice, providing the parcel is securely packed in the same way as it was sent out. If you wish to return the parcel yourself please feel free to do so. Once the parcel has returned to us we will refund you the full amount.
