Dominio de la Cartoixa Galena Priorat is a wine with an intense cherry red colour, where the producer tries to express what their terroir is.
In addition, the mineral character the wine has is unique from this terroir, always present and provides freshness.
Galena presents a remarkable aromatic complexity and a wealth of nuances. Firstly with aromas dominated by balsamic notes, black fruits as well as jams and further with a light touch of black spices.
Moreover the wine is full bodied in the mouth, powerful but with tannins that soften with time in bottle. This wine has a very good ageing potential.
- 12 months in French (%90) and American (%10) oak barrels.
- 24 months in bottle to rest in the cellar.
The exceptional combination of a singular terroir, a tenacious dream and a qualified team motivated by excellence have produced singular and extraordinary wines. Moreover they are unique in being capable of transmitting the whole culture, the land and the landscape of the Priorat.

Returns and Exchanges
All goods should be examined upon receipt, and any claim for loss or breakage notified by email or telephone to Hay Wines immediately. In the case of goods delivered by couriers, unless any claim is made within 24 hours, no compensation, refund or other credit will be available. In the case of damaged goods, Hay Wines reserves the right to collect these.

If you wish to return your order due to an error on our behalf, we are happy to collect or get our courier to collect from the delivery address stated on the invoice, providing the parcel is securely packed in the same way as it was sent out. If you wish to return the parcel yourself please feel free to do so. Once the parcel has returned to us we will refund you the full amount. Please note that refunds may take up to 7 working days to appear in your account.
