Very intense on the palate, with a typical honey aftertaste.
Natural wines are not chemically manipulated to produce a standardised output, which must be preserved at all costs.
Therefore, they reflect their vineyard origins better. Therefore, they can also vary significantly from one vintage to the next. They feel the influence the climate and of the general environmental context.
Certainly, the objective is precisely to obtain the best possible output under varying circumstances, always trying to deliver a wine that reflects the distinctive character of the territory.
Moreover, having very little or no added SO2, natural wines usually evolve in the bottle, especially in the first months or years.
This is a general characteristic of completely natural wines.
Franco Terpin Ribolla Gialla – The Producer
In the rinowned area of Collio, on the border of Slovenia, Franco Terpin cultivates his ten-hectare vineyard.
In these lands, Franco Terpin witnessed these grapevines to grow and they saw him to grow up as well.
It led him to produce wines like him: definites, stricts but sunnies in the expression and original in the style.
The symbiosis with this location inspires a philosophy of production with values like affection and respect for these surroundings, for the nature and for the wine.
Moreover, the whole production follows the natural wine philosophy.
Most importantly, without insecticides, herbicides and fertilisers, in pristine conditions, far from the daily agitation and pollution.
Furthermore, one of the oldest grapevines of the company is a Tocai from 1953.
In 2005 started the production of Orange Wine: wines fermented with the skins and indigenous yeast, bottled without clarifications and filtrations.

Returns and Exchanges
All goods should be examined upon receipt, and any claim for loss or breakage notified by email or telephone to Hay Wines immediately. In the case of goods delivered by couriers, unless any claim is made within 24 hours, no compensation, refund or other credit will be available. In the case of damaged goods, Hay Wines reserves the right to collect these.
