Glendronach 18YO 46%

GlenDronach 18YO 46% is named after the renowned founder of the distillery, James Allardice.

First of all this exceptional sherried single malt is non chill filtered and of natural colour.

Furthermore is it matured in the finest Spanish Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46%, this sublime richly sherried malt is truly unforgettable.

APPEARANCE

Bright deep gold with a tawny centre.

NOSE

Firstly there are sweet aromatics of fudge and muscovado sugar. Moreover there are notes of fruit compote and glacier morello cherries provide added complexity.

PALATE

The palate is rich dark and seductive. Further flavours of stewed fruits and all-spice marry together with classic aged Oloroso sherry, toasted walnut bread and chocolate orange.

CONCLUSION

As a result, this whisky is tremendously complex and long on the palate.

Producer

The Glendronach distillery in the Deveron (Speyside) area of Scotland was founded in 1826 by Glendronach Distillery Co. This  partnership is headed by one James Allardes (or Allardyce).
