More Information

I Cacciagalli Vino Masseria Cacciagalli

I Cacciagalli Vino Masseria Cacciagalli spends 20 months aging in large oak casks.

This Aglianico is able to match to the most intense game dishes.

With a full-body, with a charming elegant finish.

The Philosophy

Natural wines are not chemically manipulated to produce a standardised output, which must be preserved at all costs.

Therefore, they reflect their vineyard origins better. Therefore, they can also vary significantly from one vintage to the next. They feel the influence the climate and of the general environmental context.

Certainly, the objective is precisely to obtain the best possible output under varying circumstances, always trying to deliver a wine that reflects the distinctive character of the territory.

Moreover, having very little or no added SO2, natural wines usually evolve in the bottle, especially in the first months or years.

This is a general characteristic of completely natural wines.

I Cacciagalli Vino Masseria Cacciagalli - The Producer

First of all, I Cacciagalli is a young company that produces extremely expressive wines of their terroir of origin.

In the company, we can find the wife Diana, a young agronomist, and the husband Marco, a passionate wine connoisseur.

Most importantly, this project represents their way of life, driven by the dream of creating sincere and intense wines.

The company’s name comes directly from the land that hosts it, a farm owned by generations of Iannoccone family.

The ancient cellar of Diana’s family now looks at the needs and the times of nature.

Around the farm the Roccamonfina volcano, which is no longer active and has affected the geology of the rich and mineral area, certainly dominates the landscape.

Moreover, this inactive volcano creates a fertile cradle perfect for vineyards.

Finally, the nearby Volturno River gives other important nutrients to the soils.

Consequently, I Cacciagalli wines, whose grapes are grown in the hot and dry days and have rest in the warm and windy nights, are very fresh and mineral.
