Little Bird Gin

Little Bird’s seductive pink-grapefruit nose is matched perfectly by fresh juniper and dazzling citrus on the first sip. A lively tang on the tongue, gives way to luscious, velvety orange peel with a subtle underlying sweetness and a zesty finish.

Full bodied 41.6% – cocktail strength, small batch gin from South London.

After much taste testing, feedback, fun and frivolity, Team Little Bird Gin and friends hit upon the recipe for a new London Dry Gin. Pink-grapefruit, sweet orange peel and ginger, plus seven more botanicals all contribute to our smooth citrusy taste.

Those three little words on your bottle tell you that the botanicals are natural and distilled along with the spirit to give a purer and high quality spirit. London Dry Gin means that no artificial flavourings or colourings are allowed before or after distillation.

While that term London Dry is a nod to the style of your gin, strangely, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s actually made in London too. But rest assured, Little Bird is, of course, south London born and bred in our very own distillery in Peckham Rye, London.

Moniack Mead Quick View

Moniack Mead

Rating:
Moniack Mead is a traditional honey mead which is produced at Moniack Castle by Highland Wineries, and is said to be one of the best meads being made in modern times. Mead is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks known in history and, like all meads, Moniack Mead is produced through the process of fermenting honey. An interesting fact about mead is that it is traditionally drunk for the month after a wedding which is where the word “honeymoon” came from. Moniack Mead has a lovely, lingering and smooth flavour with elements of caramel and fermented honey. Our recommendation is that this mead is best served either chilled or if you prefer as a aperitif. 75cl bottle
