Description

Col del Sas Prosecco DOCG Brut – Low Sugar Prosecco

Col del Sas Prosecco DOCG Brut is a low sugar Prosecco containing almost half the amount of sugar as standard Extra Dry Prosecco.

A straw yellow colour with greenish highlights.

The nose senses floral notes with pleasant hints of bread crust.

With its only 8.5 g/l of residual sugar this is the driest Prosecco within the Col del Sas range.

A low sugar Prosecco that keeps the pleasant roundness and smooth finish typical of Prosecco.

Pleasant and elegant to the palate, especially thanks to a bold sapidity, with a unique tactile sensation.

The Producer

The Spagnol are a family of winemakers in the heart of the Valdobbiadene DOCG appellation.

Wine producers since the early twentieth century, they began using the sparkling process when making their wine in 1986.

Today, their 32 hectares of vineyards stretch over the hills and slopes of the most prestigious towns in this DOCG territory.

All the lands and vineyards, every vine and every single cluster, are followed closely on their way to the bottles.

Furthermore, they are always subject to the attentive gaze and the industrious hands of the Spagnol family.

The grape variety

The grapes that make up the base of the low sugar Prosecco Col del Sas Prosecco DOCG Brut are the fruit of the Prosecco vine (Glera).

Its cultivation in this territory makes it possible to obtain especially high levels of quality.

This is especially due to the outstanding variety in the geological composition of the soils.

These ideal terrains are further enhanced by the diverse exposure of the hillsides, the varying altitudes, and the many micro-climates found in this zone, and especially marked by notable temperature changes between the day and night.

Furthermore, all these characteristics are responsible for the organoleptic richness of the Col del Sas Prosecco DOCG Brut.

Pol Roger Brut

Pol Roger Brut Reserve is synonymous with classic, brilliant Champagne. The Champagne has its devout disciples within the trade - almost a trade secret! When you get to taste it you will understand why the trade want to keep it for themselves.
