A classic London Dry Gin that incorporates Holywell Malvern Spring Water and botanicals inspired by the Malvern Hills.

Handcrafted in small batches using the one shot method, this gin has been created to deliver a beautiful G&T whilst being adaptable as a base for a variety of cocktails.

Handcrafted in small batches using the one shot method, Malvern Dry Gin delivers a beautiful Gin and Tonic, whilst being adaptable as a base for a variety of cocktails.

Expect plenty of juniper at the fore, balanced with earthiness, citrus and light herbiness.

The gin incorporates a dozen botanicals – a mix of some of those common in many gins, and a number that are inspired by plants found in and around the Malvern Hills.

Botanics inspired by the Malvern Hills:

  • Bilberry – closely related to the blueberry
  • Achillea millefolium / Yarrow – a herbaceous, perennial plant
  • Artemisia vulgaris / Mugwort – a member of the daisy family
  • Alchemilla mollis / Lady’s mantle – a herbaceous perennial plant

Moniack Mead

Rating:
Moniack Mead is a traditional honey mead which is produced at Moniack Castle by Highland Wineries, and is said to be one of the best meads being made in modern times. Mead is one of the oldest alcoholic drinks known in history and, like all meads, Moniack Mead is produced through the process of fermenting honey. An interesting fact about mead is that it is traditionally drunk for the month after a wedding which is where the word “honeymoon” came from. Moniack Mead has a lovely, lingering and smooth flavour with elements of caramel and fermented honey. Our recommendation is that this mead is best served either chilled or if you prefer as a aperitif. 75cl bottle
