MAS LASTA Languedoc Rouge: the Producer

Mas Lasta is a small winery in south of France (9ha).

Between Larzac and mediterraneen sea. Growing little parcels of old Grenache, Syrah and Carignan.

Anne-Laure SICARD, owner and wimemaker, says:
"Before settling my vineyard as a female winemaker, i was studying viticulture and winemaking at Montpellier school of agronomist.

Then i was travelling the wine world (australia, uruguay, canada, spain and france) to learn more about vine and wine.

I settled Mas Lasta in 2015."

Anne Laure Sicard made her first harvest in 2016, however she is not a beginner either since after obtaining her diploma in oenology in Montpellier, she worked at Château Latour, then went around the world as a winemaker (Spain, Australia, Canada, Uruguay, Argentina).

Back in Languedoc, she took over 9 hectares of vines located at 450 m of altitude at the northern limit of Terrasses du Larzac.

Hence the name of the domaine, Mas Lasta (= the last vines).
