Racy Raspberry Gin Liqueur

As with all our fruit Gins this Raspberry Gin is made in the same way as Sloe Gin.

We add Raspberries to high quality London Dry Gin and sugar.

Probably the sweetest drink we produce.

This sweetness is really a product of the natural fruit rather than sugar.

In fact, we actually use less sugar than the other gin liqueurs.

This is a fabulous colour and you will love trying this as a summer drink on the rocks.

A luscious red with all of the fruit of raspberries coming through.

Our Raspberry Gin is wonderfully sweet with a nice finish which is perfect especially served over ice, however for a fruity twist try some of these cocktail ideas:

Raspberry G’n’T
Raspberry Gin – 50ml
Tonic – To Top
In a tall glass pour the Raspberry over ice and top with tonic.

BlackEye
Raspberry Gin – 50ml
Blackjack – 50ml
Tonic or Lemonade – To Top
Mix the gins over ice in a tall glass top with your preferred mixer.

Making Gin

Finally, we want to underline that the London Dry Gin used to make our own Gin liqueurs is the highest quality style of gin possible.

In particular, it captures the lovely strong flavours of what used to be termed “Export Strength” Gins.

Distillers combine the base botanicals of Juniper and Coriander seeds with Lemon Peel and Lime Flower and then use Angelica and Orris Root which act as the fixatives bringing harmony to the different flavours.

The use of Lime flower therefore gives the Gin a very clean and refreshing taste.

In conclusion, see below the Tasting notes from the 2011 IWSC:

“Big, booming nose that gives everything a London Dry should do but more at the strength. Super active entry into the mouth yet gorgeously deep and mellow. All the flavour you could want in wonderful integration. Complexity gives super smoothness and velvet flow while retaining the lively character. Complex, long, refreshing finish. Aftertaste lasts for ever!”

Rakish Rhubarb Gin Liqueur

This beautiful Rhubarb Gin is part of our own range of Gin liqueurs. Compounded the old fashioned way - the way you probably make Sloe Gin at home - by steeping diced rhubarb in London Dry Gin. We added sugar at the end of the process as we wanted to keep the tartness and sweetness nicely balance. Excellent with different mixers, but also incredibly balanced if consumed neat. Gin Mare Mediterranean Gin Quick View

Gin Mare Mediterranean Gin

Gin Mare Mediterranean Gin is quite unlike any other gin, on the nose it is soft and clean with the rosemary especially immediately evident. Although the juniper is still the main aroma it is complimented rather than overpowered by the more herbal Mediterranean botanicals. The flavours have a lightness supplied by the citrus and basil with a savoury olive undertone.  The savoury, herbal elements are there too, with the rosemary again evident upfront alongside the classic juniper backbone that you would expect. It has a great depth of flavour with a olive and thyme finish that lingers long in the mouth.

Original Gin is the St Andrews take on a classic London Dry. Made from Fife’s seabuckthorn berries, a super food that grows within walking distance of their St Andrews distillery. This gin is on a quite different level to most.

Cotswold Dry Gin Quick View

Cotswold Dry Gin

Nose: fresh notes of grapefruit with earthy coriander backed-up by sweet juniper. Soft notes of black pepper with a hint of perfumed Cotswolds lavender. Palate: clean, pine juniper spice with fresh grapefruit and coriander seed. A touch of dryness from the angelica root with eucalyptus notes from bay leaf. Subtle lime and lavender. The expression of the traditional London dry style comes from the maceration into our pure wheat spirit of juniper, coriander and angelica root, which have been left for 12 hours to allow their flavour characteristics to fully infuse. They then add their unique botanical mix of Cotswolds lavender and bay leaf, grapefruit, lime, black pepper and cardamom seed into their carter head still for distillation before finishing with naturally refined Cotswolds water. The result is a classic well-balanced juniper-led gin with crisp citrus and spice. This gin is delicious on its own and over ice. It’s robust enough to stand up to tonic and smooth enough to craft the ultimate gin martini.
