Spagnol Vino Spumante Rosato Col Rosè

Spagnol Vino Spumante Rosato Col Rosè has a beautiful rosé colour with bright highlights. Very delicate bouquet, fruity with hints of strawberries, raspberries, and roses.

To the palate, sharp acidity is counteracted by a balanced sweetness for overall pleasing taste.

A pleasant wine for aperitifs, but also for menus featuring white meat and fish. A nice and authentic pink fizz made only from indigenous grape varieties of the Prosecco region!

The Spagnol are a family of winemakers in the heart of the zone famous for the production of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore.

Wine producers since the early twentieth century, they began using the sparkling process when making their wine in 1986.

Today, their 32 hectares of vineyards stretch over the hills and slopes of the most prestigious towns in this DOCG territory.

The vineyard dubbed “Col del Sas” located on the hill of the same name in the territory of Valdobbiadene, embodies the family history.

Their brand name reflects this, as it unites the family surname with the name of the their land: Spagnol Col del Sas.

All the lands and vineyards, every vine and every single cluster, are followed closely on their way to the bottles, always subject to the attentive gaze and the industrious hands of father Orazio and mother Loretta and their four sons, brothers Stefano, Marco, Alberto, and Mattia.

The grapes that make up the base of the Spagnol Vino Spumante Rosato Col Rosè are the fruit of the Prosecco vine, today identified with the historic synonym Glera.

Glera is a white grape characterised by yellow-golden fruit in long, straggly, and winged clusters.

Its cultivation in this territory, moulded by the Piave River and its lateral branches, makes it possible to obtain spectacular levels of quality thanks to the outstanding variety in the geological composition of the soils.

These ideal terrains are further enhanced by the diverse exposure of the hillsides, the varying altitudes, and the many micro-climates found in this zone, marked by notable temperature changes between the day and night.

All these characteristics are responsible for the organoleptic richness of the Spagnol Vino Spumante Rosato Col Rosè, the notes and bouquets of which vary from hillside to hillside.

Spagnol Colfondo Prosecco Frizzante Il Fondo 2018

A traditional Colfondo Prosecco, made with re-fermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Italian Method, without disgorging or dosing the finished wine. This is a light wine but with good body; bone-dry with residual sugars between 1-4 g/l. The perlage is very fine, given the aging on its own yeasts. There are distinctive notes of bread crusts and ripe yellow fruit. The lees deposit on the bottom is usually compact but, if shaken, it can be quite hazy and cloudy.

Bollinger Special Reserve

Special Cuvee is made from a majority of reserve wines fermented either in mature oak casks or small stainless steel tanks depending on the characteristics and fundamental potential of the base wines. A significant part of the reserve wines have been fermented in mature oak barrels before being transferred into magnums, which are then stored under cork in Bollinger’s cellars for as long as 12 to 15 years, with a minimum of 5. Blended some years later with the other base wines, coming from the two latest harvests in proportions which can change from one year to another, they impart the final blend with an inimitable and unrivalled consistency and majesty.

Bastia Vino Frizzante Colfondo Capo degli Onesti 2019

Straw yellow in colour with the delicate delicate perlage typical of Frizzante wines. This wine is a jump into the history of Prosecco, when locals used to call it in the local dialect "el vin col fondo” - "the wine with sediment". This is in fact a traditional Colfondo Frizzante wine, with in-bottle fermentation and storage on the yeast lees. Without filtering or clarification, this wine takes on unique and unmistakable features, and its complexity is overwhelming and fascinating. If shaken, it can be quite hazy and cloudy; the smell is characterised by yeasty notes, crust of bread and yellow ripe fruit; the taste is bone-dry and pleasantly sapid. Bastia winery is located in the heart of Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG appellation. With the "Capo degli Onesti" they wanted to celebrate Prosecco, its history and tradition; for this reason they decided to label this wine as "Vino Frizzante Bianco", just like their grandparents used to do years and years ago.
