Wythall Estate Pinot Noir

Wythall Estate’s Pinot Noir is a rich garnet colour which fades to a pinkish tone at the rim. Black cherry and fresh raspberry fragrances delight the nose and appear again on the palate with a touch of rich earthiness. There is good acidity, barely perceptible tannin which gives an appealing mouth feel, leading to a soft, velvety finish.

Using the Pinot Noir mutated Fruhburgunder grape the vine ripens two-to-three weeks earlier than the Pinot Noir. Early ripening means the fruits escape the onset of a cold winter.

English wines are enjoying increasing popularity with discerning wine drinkers worldwide.

Now over 500 English wineries are collectively producing around 5 million bottles each year.

Wythall Estate is located close to historic former market town of Ross‑on‑Wye in rural Herefordshire – one of the finest agricultural growing areas in England.

Because their vineyards benefits from a unique micro‑climate created by the surrounding undulating terrain, this protects the vines from cold weather. Additionally this harnesses the warmth of the sun during the growing season.

Returns and Exchanges

All goods should be examined upon receipt, and any claim for loss or breakage notified by email or telephone to Hay Wines immediately. In the case of goods delivered by couriers, unless any claim is made within 24 hours, no compensation, refund or other credit will be available. In the case of damaged goods, Hay Wines reserves the right to collect these.

Ship your items back to us

If you wish to return your order due to an error on our behalf, we are happy to collect or get our courier to collect from the delivery address stated on the invoice, providing the parcel is securely packed in the same way as it was sent out. If you wish to return the parcel yourself please feel free to do so. Once the parcel has returned to us we will refund you the full amount.
