Description

This is a bright, full ruby coloured Port with violet tones. On the nose it is distinctive with fresh blueberries and hints of eucalyptus. It is full bodied on the palate and balanced, with a long flourishing finish.

Although Churchill’s is considered a baby of the Port trade both in scale and age having only been founded in 1981, it has its roots deeply imbedded into quality Port history. Johnny Graham’s family used to own the famous Graham’s Port until it was sold in 1970. He and his Wife, Caroline (maiden name Churchill) created the company, and the scale of Churchill’s allows Johnny and his team to produce really exciting hand-crafted traditional wines, using the methods that many houses are now unable due to their time-consuming nature!
