More Information

Kozlovic Malvazija

Kozlovic Malvazija is crisp, zesty, mineral rich wine with ripe melon and citrus flavours - the finish has a touch of characteristic bitterness making it very food-friendly.

On the palate we meet similar freshness and vividness of a lightly perky fruits, combined with lenght and fullness in the mouth. Flavour containes less herbal notes and more ripe savour of the peaches and lots of red apples.

At the beginning, expressive mellowness and freshness, in the middle ripe notes of fruits, creamy nuances and favourable yeast traces. In the finish typical aftertaste of a hale Malvasia Istriana with nuances of nutiness and plentiful delight.

Background:-

The Kozlovi? philosophy is embodied in the family's history, a family that knew how to hold together, working towards a common goal; nurturing the value of their toils, effort, resolution and competence.

Their work and development is based, in this regard, on an innate inclination to live beyond the borders and conquer new horizons in the world of wine making. http://www.kozlovic.hr/index.php/about-us/family

This history, adopted by the descendants as their own, continues and finds its confirmation from day to day, bonding the past, present and future.

The Kozlovic family have been making wine in the Istrian region of Croatia since 1904. The region borders Friuli and the wines, food and people have a real connection with their Italian neighbours.

The winery is run by Gianfranco and Antonella Kozlovic and they currently cultivate 17 hectares of vineyards. They have a very modern approach to winemaking.
