Bright and fruity, Red Claw are Australian producer Yabby Lake’s ‘drink now’ range of delicious wines made entirely from their grapes and with their signature care and attention in Mornington Peninsula.

Citrus and stone fruit steal the show with the subtlest of oak spice adding complexity. Think Chablis-like flintiness but with a tantalising hint of New World exoticism. We are deep within crystalline-loveliness territory with Tom’s Red Claw Chardonnay.

Now might be the time to get on the phone to your friendly local fishmonger and ask him very nicely what he has in the crustacean department, as lobster in particular will go very well with this Chardonnay.

Producer

It was really with Yabby Lake that Tom established himself as Mr Pinot. His search for the perfect Aussie terroir for pinot (and Chardonnay) led him to the Yarra Valley. Few people know the vineyards of Yarra better than Tom.

Now, having achieved pretty much everything there is to achieve in wine, Tom has launched his own special project, Distant Noises – which is his attempt to do that rare thing of making high-quality wine that is accessible to many.

All goods should be examined upon receipt, and any claim for loss or breakage notified by email or telephone to Hay Wines immediately. In the case of goods delivered by couriers, unless any claim is made within 24 hours, no compensation, refund or other credit will be available. In the case of damaged goods, Hay Wines reserves the right to collect these.
