Description

The wine exhibits the delicate underbrush aromas of Itata’s wild grass, red fruits and a little bit of cassis. It’s fresh and delicate, marked by fine grained tannins that give a very unique structure and creates a long lingering ending with a distinctive mineral character due to the volcanic soils where the old vines thrive.

"A los Vinateros Bravos" means "to the brave vignerons", a tribute to the brave vignerons that have kept these incredible old vines alive, 100% farmed by hand. The soil line shows the impact of two of the most interesting soils on the Itata Hills, the Granitic and Volcanic soils. Old-vines, un-grafted, un-irrigated, natural low yields and natural winemaking allow the producer to show the impact in the wine of The Mother Rock.
