Description

This is a chiselled glass of white you could only thank us for, perfect with fresh crunchy salads, grilled fish or simply on its own. Luis’ vineyards are on soils of granite with clay, only 20kms from the ocean. Aromatic and intense, it presents a marked acidity, with saline and slightly fruity notes. Round on the palate, it is a wine with excellent aging potential.

Producer

Luis Cerdeira is synomous with Vinho Verde since as a young man he joined his father  who started the Soalheiro wine estate in 1982. Now that Luis's own son Manuel is a young man he wanted to do the same thing for him, and together they have started a winery called Vine Vinu, which means from vine to glass, to explore different terroirs. They have two - one which is coastal made in Requiao, which is 20km form the sea - and one which is in the mountains in Melgaco. They are bottling them separately.
