Rondan Rioja Tinto Joven is a traditional blend of 70% Tempranillo and 30% Garnacha. It is focused on primary red fruit aromas such as cherry, strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, this beautiful Rioja Tinto shows smooth and silky tannin. The wine is fresh and easy-drinking, with a good length on the palate.

Producer

Founded in 1993, this winery is in Cenicero, along with its vineyards – one of the best places to make traditional Rioja wines. The Sáenz de Santamaría own 60 hectares of vineyards here, where they grow Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano and Garnacha red grapes, as well as Viura white grapes. Their wines are named after their most special vineyard, Rondan.

The quality of their wines has been demonstrated in recent years with numerous national and international awards.

The entrance gate to the winery can be seen as the symbolic image on the labels of their bottles.
