The producer of Château Violet (often seen as Château Violet-Lamothe) is the Lahiteau family, specifically run by Joëlle Lahiteau, a female winemaker managing the historic estate in Preignac, Sauternes, France. This family-owned estate, operating since the French Revolution, specializes in noble rot sweet wines from Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle grapes, known for its elegant fruitiness and connection to the famous Sauternes region.
