Delicious Damson Gin Liqueur

In many ways Damson Gin is rapidly becoming one of our most popular flavours.

We used to source all of our Damsons form a lovely lady in Herefordshire who grows them along her farm tracks.

As we have expanded we have had to find more and more damsons.

Luckily the Religious community that provide us with plums also now sell us Damsons.

This year will also see another producer start supplying us this time from the traditional fruit growing area around Evesham.

So we now have three different farms that supply us with best quality Damsons.

Intense and slightly tart, the flavour of Damson begins to taste almost like old fashioned cherry drop sweets.

Beautifully fruity and tart with a taste of cherries in amongst the Damson.

Another winter warmer that you can enjoy in the summer!

Making Gin

Finally, we want to underline that the London Dry Gin used to make our own Gin liqueurs is the highest quality style of gin possible.

In particular, it captures the lovely strong flavours of what used to be termed “Export Strength” Gins.

Distillers combine the base botanicals of Juniper and Coriander seeds with Lemon Peel and Lime Flower and then use Angelica and Orris Root which act as the fixatives bringing harmony to the different flavours.

The use of Lime flower therefore gives the Gin a very clean and refreshing taste.
