Domaine Fernand Girard Sancerre
Domaine Fernand Girard Sancerre is perfectly clean, crisp mineral palate with lemon and green apple flavours. Moreover it has beautiful hints of elderflower on the nose.
Firstly the wine opens with delicate grapefruit, quince and white-flower aromas. This is followed by crisp, citrus flavours balanced with bracing acidity and a touch of creaminess.
As a result, the finish is long-lasting and dry with a lovely fruity balance.

Domaine Girard is run by Fernand and Monique Girard, assisted by their son Alain.
The family come from several generations of winemakers in the tiny village of Chaudoux. It is located a few miles northwest of the town of Sancerre and directly north of Chavignol.
Most notably the Girard's lovingly tend 12 hectares of vines and only the best of their production is bottled under under their label.
In addition, a state of the art cellar with all best the modern technology combined with traditional viniticultural practices and minimum intervention result in a beautifully crafted Sancerre.
