Domaine Plageoles Mauzac Noir
Tasting Note
Aroma: Fresh, intense bouquet featuring small red fruits like cherry and raspberry, alongside subtle floral, vegetal, and white pepper notes.
Palate: Light and lively with a silky texture. It displays a beautiful tension with well-balanced acidity and fine, elegant tannins.
Finish: Crisp, clean, and refreshing with a lingering fruity aftertaste.
Producer
Domaine Plageoles is 20 hectares on the slopes of Cahuzac-sur-Vère and Castelnau-de-Montmiral.
Clay-limestone soils, organic and natural farming, and a family that has been making wine since 1805. Here, there are no concessions. Our wines are a direct reflection of the soil, the grape variety and the vintage.
Fourteen historic grape varieties from the Gaillac region, some of which almost disappeared forever. Mauzac Nature, Vin de Voile, Ondenc, Prunelart, Vin d'Autan... Wines that you can't find anywhere else, because they don't exist anywhere else.
