Description

Hatozaki Triple Cask Reserve is a celebration of innovative Japanese craftsmanship by Master Distiller and Blender, Kimio Yonezawa. This blended whisky is first aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, before being finished for an additional six months in Akashi-Tai's superior Umeshu Plum Sake Liqueur barrels; a rare and special process in whisky making. It is finished and bottled in Japan and is best served near, on ice, or in a Highball.  Nose: Oak spice, black tea & orange peel. Palate: Delicate oak, dried citrus & sweet ume plums. Finish: Long, rounded & well-balanced.
