The New World Wine Box is composed of:

1. The Wolftrap White, Western Cape, South Africa, (1 bottle)
A fabulous blended white wine. It has a striking aroma of fruit blossom mingling with spicy, baked apple aromas. The palate is equally as interesting with fresh green fruits, again with a definite spicy character. The ripeness of the vintage is clear on the finish, where a tropical note comes through.

2. Berton Foundstone Chardonnay, South East Australia, Australia, (1 bottle)
An appealing fruit driven wine that has aromas of candied lemon, lime and honeydew melon. The palate is a fusion of sweet citrus, pear-drop and ripe melon flavours that continue to a long and zesty finish. The wine is best enjoyed with lightly fried fish or just as an aperitif.

3. The Crossings Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand, (1 bottle)
A lifted nose showing aromas of passion fruit, blackcurrant, grapefruit and nettles with refreshing underlying mineral – A light bodied refreshing wine with typical Marlborough flavours of gooseberry, blackcurrant and grapefruit. A pleasing mineral note leads to a long lingering finish.

4. Echeverria Gran Reserva Pinot Noir, Casablanca Valley, Chile, (1 bottle)
Deep garnet red with purple hues. Rich and elegant, this attractive Pinot Noir combines aromas of strawberries, black cherries, raspberries and dry plums with hints of chocolate and mocha. The palate is round and soft offering a rich texture and a lush finish.

5. Swartland Vineyards Limited Release Mourvedre, South Africa, (1 bottle)               An intensely coloured wine with a perfumed nose of mocha, chocolate and dark berry flavours, which follow through onto the palate and are complemented by spicy undertones. A soft mouthfeel that lingers on the palate.

 6. Belasco de Baquedano Apo Malbec, Mendoza, Argentina, (1 bottle)

Very glossy fruit, berry coulis, meadow sweet, blackberry and apple compote-warming and rounded. Very drinkable indeed, and such value!
