More Information

Tenute Sirinada Vermentino di Sardegna

Tenute Sirinada Vermentino di Sardegna 2025 is a fresh, elegant Italian white wine made from 100% Vermentino, one of Sardinia’s most distinctive native grape varieties. Bright, aromatic and wonderfully easy to enjoy, it captures the sunny Mediterranean character of the island while retaining plenty of freshness and balance.

A Fresh and Fragrant Sardinian Vermentino

Pale straw yellow in colour, this Vermentino opens with delicate floral aromas followed by notes of citrus fruit, crisp orchard fruit and subtle Mediterranean herbs.

The palate is dry and refreshing, combining lively acidity with an attractive, gently rounded texture. Flavours of lemon, green apple and white peach lead towards a clean, savoury finish, with the subtle saline character often associated with Sardinian white wines.

The result is a versatile and approachable Vermentino that offers both immediate drinking pleasure and a genuine sense of place.

Winemaking

The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, followed by cold maceration to help preserve their aromatic freshness.

Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, allowing the wine to retain its floral character, vibrant fruit and clean, refreshing profile.

About Menicucci Vini d’Italia

Menicucci Vini d’Italia is a family-run Italian producer whose story began in 1970, when Antonio Menicucci planted his first vines in Ortona, Abruzzo. Today, the business is carried forward by the second and third generations of the Menicucci family, combining traditional Italian winemaking values with a modern and accessible approach.

The producer works with grape varieties and wine regions from across Italy, creating a broad collection intended to express the individual character of each territory. The Tenute Sirinada range focuses on the native grapes of Sardinia, presenting approachable, regionally distinctive wines that reflect the island’s warm climate and Mediterranean identity.

About Vermentino di Sardegna

Vermentino thrives in Sardinia’s warm, maritime climate, where abundant sunshine helps the grapes develop ripe fruit flavours while coastal influences contribute freshness and a distinctive savoury character.

Vermentino di Sardegna wines are known for their aromatic personality, bright acidity and subtle notes of herbs, citrus and almond. This is a classic expression of the style, balancing generous Mediterranean fruit with an elegant, refreshing finish.

Food Pairing

Tenute Sirinada Vermentino di Sardegna is an excellent match for seafood, shellfish and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.

Try it with grilled prawns, calamari, seafood pasta, risotto, fish soups or simply prepared white fish. It also works beautifully with vegetable antipasti, fresh salads, soft cheeses and delicate white meats.

Its freshness makes it equally enjoyable as an aperitif, particularly when served well chilled.

Serving Recommendation

Serve chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Best enjoyed young while its floral aromas, citrus fruit and lively freshness are at their most expressive.
