A beautifully ripe and fruity Zinfandel from California. Red fruit dominates the palate with slight floral aromas, rich spice and well balanced freshness. Luscious texture with seriously well integrated tannins.
Producer
Though the vast majority of our wines are single vineyard designates, Juvenile is actually composed of a variety of young vines that have been replanted in several of our best old vine sites. We tag the younger vines then pick them separately and make a distinct wine. Juvenile vines range in age from about 6-25 years, and we pull from a selection of our best vineyards across California.
Turley Wine Cellars was founded in Napa Valley by former emergency room physician Larry Turley in 1993. Under the direction of winemaker Tegan Passalacqua, Turley makes historic California wines from over 50 vineyards across the state, primarily Zinfandel and Petite Syrah, with many vines dating back to the late 1800s.
