Bastia Rebuli Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze Prosecco Dry

Cartizze Prosecco is the most expensive Prosecco Grand Cru, and its outstanding quality speaks for itself!

Bastia Valdobbiadene DOCG Cartizze Prosecco is pale straw yellow in colour with an fine and persistent perlage.

The aromas are deep and delicate with flower notes like the rose, field’s violet and fruity scents of apple and peach.

On the palate it is mellow, appealing and velvety, lightly aromatic, but it always keeps its elegance.

The important residual sugars in the wine (25 g/l) are perfectly balanced with the huge minerality typical of Cartizze.

This all gives the impression of a drier wine, but which very smooth and balanced on the palate.

The Producer

You can find Rebuli Bastia winery in Saccol, heart of Valdobbiadene DOCG, at the feet of the Bastìa hill. This is the beginning of a narrow but famous zone: Cartizze.

Of small dimensions but of great prestige, the company Azienda Agricola Rebuli Michele is the fruit of 5 generations.

The producer has few hectares of vineyards of its property, and all of them in the top-quality Valdobbiadene DOCG district.

Cartizze Prosecco: the most expensive Prosecco Grand Cru

Moreover, Rebuli Bastia owns a hillside vineyard in the Cartizze, an area with optimal exposure at the sun, steady ventilation and sandy soil.

All these elements combined together give the very best expression of the variety Glera (originally Prosecco).

The hill of Cartizze is a 1,000-foot-high vineyard of 107 hectares (260 acres) of vines and it is owned only by 140 growers.

The Prosecco from its grapes is of the highest quality, and the real “Grand Cru” of Prosecco.

According to a local legend, Cartizze winegrowers traditionally harvested this hill as the very last one. Indeed, the vines were on steep slopes and hard to reach. This fact helped vintners discover that the extended ripening period improved the flavour.

Rebuli Bastia takes directly care of the entire production process, from the vineyard to the cellar.

Out of stock Bastia Rebuli Brut Zero Sugar Prosecco calories DOCG “Introvers0” Quick View

Zero Sugar Prosecco DOCG Introvers0 by Bastia Rebuli 2017

Grapes come from 2 vineyards: Saccol and Bastia. They are pressed together at the same time to better balance the organoleptic character of each single parcel. On the nose, this gorgeous wine shows all the aromatic fruity character of Glera grapes. To the palate, it keeps the pleasant roundness and smooth finish typical of Prosecco, but without the need of any sugars. Its name means “introvert” in Italian, since it does not give confidence right away... but, for those who can wait, this wine will be absolutely overwhelming! With its 0 g/l of residual sugars, the Introvers0 is a very rare example of an actual sugar free Prosecco. This is why it is the lowest sugar Prosecco you can find on the UK market, and one of the lowest calories fizz too!

Champagne Fleury Blanc de Noirs Brut NV

Very warm, rich nose with some honeyed, nutty character. Broad but still fresh with a berryish sort of quality. The palate is broad and focused with a herby, nutty richness and a buiscuitty quality, with raspberry flavours that exudes class. as well as great acidity. The dosage is very low so this is one of the driest Champagnes we have. It is long and refreshing and very well balanced.

Bastia Rebuli Vino Frizzante Colfondo Capo degli Onesti Quick View

Bastia Rebuli Vino Frizzante Colfondo Capo degli Onesti 2016

Straw yellow in colour with the delicate delicate perlage typical of Frizzante wines. This wine is a jump into the history of Prosecco, when locals used to call it in the local dialect "el vin col fondo” - "the wine with sediment". This is in fact a traditional Colfondo Frizzante wine, with in-bottle fermentation and storage on the yeast lees. Without filtering or clarification, this wine takes on unique and unmistakable features, and its complexity is overwhelming and fascinating. If shaken, it can be quite hazy and cloudy; the smell is characterised by yeasty notes, crust of bread and yellow ripe fruit; the taste is bone-dry and pleasantly sapid. Bastia Rebuli winery is located in the heart of Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG appellation. With the "Capo degli Onesti" they wanted to celebrate Prosecco, its history and tradition; for this reason they decided to label this wine as "Vino Frizzante Bianco", just like their grandparents used to do years and years ago.

It is a beautiful orange wine with an amber colour that recalls the colour of the natural Malvasia grape in the sun. On the nose a touch of typical Malvasia aromatics and floral notes. On the palate it is full bodied and the tannins stand out; the finish is fresh and dry. From organic grapes, 60 days skin-contact maceration, no added sulphur dioxide, use of natural native yeast only and without fining or filtration. This wine spends 18 months on the yeasts before the actual disgorgement. Pas dosé & Millesimé. A very rare style of traditional method sparkling orange wine!
